Live hacking
An attack demonstrated live, with the explanation alongside. For staff, for the management team or for an event, with scenarios from your sector.
Seeing how fast it goes
A slide about phishing convinces nobody who has already seen ten of them. An attack that runs in front of the audience works differently: the mail, the click, and two minutes later the screen of the person who clicked, up on the projector.
We show the route in full and explain at every step what made it possible and what it would have failed against. The second part is what stays with people.
What we demonstrate
The selection follows the audience and the sector. Everything runs on our own rigs, never on your systems.
Phishing and credentials
From the mail to the hijacked session, including the question of why multi-factor authentication helps and in which cases it gets bypassed.
Network and devices
What a device on the network reads along, how a standard account becomes an administrator, and what a USB stick in the car park sets off.
OT and vehicles
On our demonstrators: a forged telegram to a display in the train, a switching command in the model city, a diagnostic request in the vehicle.
From a talk to hands on
As a talk of 45 to 90 minutes for a staff meeting, a client event or the management team. As a longer format with questions and hands-on demonstrations, in which participants work on the rigs themselves.
For supervisory boards and management we shorten the technical part and lengthen the part about decisions: who would have noticed what, who would have had to decide, and what would have broken the chain.
Common questions about live hacking
No. Everything runs on our own rigs. If you want to see what is possible at your site, a penetration test is the right format.
As a talk the number is open. For hands-on formats, twelve to twenty is a good size, so that everyone gets to the rigs.
Yes, and that is the difference between entertainment and effect. For utilities we take documented attacks on supply networks, for rail incidents from the rail sector, and for public administration the case that hit around seventy municipalities at once.
